Either of these engines can be paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Buyers can also choose between a two-wheel drive and a four-wheel drive. The Denali features a 380-horsepower, 6.2-liter, V-8 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The all-wheel drive is standard for all Denali models. The V-8 and 4WD Yukon models clock 60 mph in 8.6 seconds. The 4WD 5.3-liter V-8 is fitted with cylinder deactivation technology and achieves a fuel economy of 14/19 mpg (city/ highway) for 2008.
